Samhita and Siddhanta
The department of Samhitha and Siddantha deals with the basic principles of Ayurveda. The fundamentals of Ayurveda are described in classical texts called Ayurveda Samhitas. These Samhitas impart the knowledge of Panchmahabhutha Siddhantha and Thridosha Siddhantha along with their diagnostic and treatment principles in Sanskrit. A vast collection of Ayurveda texts , models and charts are used to teach Samhitas.
