Kayachikitsa aims at treating various diseases of the population. Treatment under this discipline includes treating both the mind and the body in totality. The treatment is done by using Shodhana (purification), Shamana (pacification), and Satwavajaya(counselling) chikitsa, which is a unique treatment. These applications are made through medications, behavioural, psychological and lifestyle management.
Various pharmacological forms like Gutika, Vati, Churna, Asava, Arishta, Ghrita, Guggulu not only treat the disease but also strengthen the system.
The department aims at providing a cost-effective, efficient and personalized medicine with high safety margins.
